UPDATE REVIEW: Still going strong over a year later. Definitely wish I cleaned it more. I've learned some cool things to make in here. And if it's nothing massive then you don't even need an oven anymore. Take some salt and pepper and olive oil and rub it all over a chicken breast and put it on air fry and you get such a juicy delicious piece of chicken. Frozen pizzas taste much better than the oven somehow. Leftovers? Air fry them. Make sweet potato fries. I've even made some beef jerky and it went well. If I have any real complaint (and maybe there is a way) I would like to purchase new parts like the basket and crumb catcher plate...because that's how often it gets used. Then I saw a negative review from someone saying you can't use it on a counter with a cabinet/shelf above it or keep it plugged in all the time. I have never unplugged it. It's about 10" below a cabinet in an open counter space next to my refrigerator. Absolutely zero issues. Remember the instruction manual will treat you like you can't make ice so they are no liable for people doing dumb things. I keep it at least 8 inches from any wall or cabinet and it contains heat to well you can't tell it's on. I really like this thing. Yes air fryers are basically ovens with a fan but this has traditional heating elements and a heat fan so you win. Still love this thing. Was worth every penny.
The controls were not the easiest to use at first. Once you get the hang of it then it's off to the races. I was looking for a toaster/convection oven type and I see they make air fryer hybrids. Did some research and found plenty for about $50-70. But they all said the same thing, not hot enough, or one function was great and the other wasn't.
So I decided to be an adult and spend over $100 on something I would be using a lot. Reading the reviews on this device it seemed like a good choice and didnt break the bank. Originally I just wanted a nice toaster oven for like 60 bucks or so but I decided to find a good multi purpose appliance.
The point of my whole story is I'm sure there are plenty of young kids like me thinking the same way. And it's time to spend that money and get the right product.
This thing is amazing. Honestly I have only used it to air fry, bake, and toast. It does those 3 things amazingly well. It has some complicated modes for toast but it will give you the PERFECT piece of toast (up to 6 slices). I have air fried chicken nuggets and fingers and just plain chicken breast. This things makes a microwave seem like a relic of the past. The nuggets I normally microwave taste fresh and amazing. I cut up some sweet potatoes and made light batter and air fried them. They were amazing. I love air frying anything I can try. It comes with a cool recipe book I look forward to using.
As an oven it works just fine. Heats up real fast. Only negative is it's max temp is 400 degrees (Fahrenheit) but I haven't really had the use to go that high. I also have a real oven should the need arise.
The removal tool it comes with isn't very good for anything. It doesn't help the fry rack or anything. Maybe its for the fry cylinder or rotisserie options. I will probably never rotisserie anything in here. I may try the frying cylinder for some cool stuff. But I purchased it for simple reasons. And it handles those simple reasons like a champ.
Its also not so big, and a has a nice modern black color scheme that should fit most kitchens. It fits well where I want it to and looks like it belongs there. Wish I bought this sooner.
Overall the machine functions well and I love all the accessories. The air fryer cooks food evenly and is pretty easy to use. At a price point of 130 I really cant complain but there are a few things that could've been designed better.
In the pictures you'll see the fries basket. You cannot put the drip tray above the heating element and fit the fries basket. You have to put the drip tray underneath the heating element. This means that the heating element is exposed for grease and crumbs to fall onto it. In the manual it states you're not even supposed to wipe down the heating element. Cant imagine grease dripping onto it is good to even safe, could start a fire!
For other dishes you can put the grease tray on top of the heating element, but it does make contact with the heating element, they should've given a little more space in between. this brings me to another point.
The grease/crumb/drip pan only holds 1 cup of fluid before becoming full. I had to empty the pan every time I put a new set of wings in it. I mean, if you were to rotisserie a whole chicken, youd have to stop mid way (at least) to empty the drainage multiple times. In addition to the grease being right next to the heating element, a fire hazard in my opinion. It's also difficult to remove the grease tray without spilling some onto the bottom of the machine.
The crownful air fryer did come with an extended 1 yr warranty in the box upon registration, that's nice to have. Included a cook book and was packaged well. It does what it states but I simply wish the drain pan held a larger volume and didnt sit right under the heating elements

Since then we found we barely use our traditional oven (which is now relegated to storage). We cook almost all of our meals in it and they are fantastic. What I really enjoy is reheating food in it. We barely use the microwave for that anymore. Reheating leftover fried chicken makes it much better than the first time it was cooked - it is super crispy. Reheating leftover pizza - much better the second time. We are at the point of making those foods and then simply put them in the fridge in anticipation to air fry them.
The Crownful has a lot of options. We have tried them all yet, the air fryer seems to be our go-to setting for most everything. Chips are fantastic, right from raw potatoes. Roasts and chickens turn out well. All regular meals (casseroles, garlic bread, etc.) are easy and fast.
The only thing we find is that there are not enough air fryer baskets.
The rotisserie cage is interesting, we tried it with homemade chips, but they were too delicate. It works well with frozen chips.
We haven't tried much of the other functions, only the air fryer, rotisserie and roasting options. We are looking forward.
We would purchase this again. Most likely we will be given this out as Christmas gifts.

Extremely instruction poor paperwork
Really concerned about skewers, as the setups force fat to drip on the elements. If you put the tray over, even very small pieces will get hooked on the bottom
Does fries, and anything air-fried really great
EDIT AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS: the large flat roasting basket works great for 2x chickens at a time, HOWEVER, we discovered the bottom drip pan is looking like it's trying to melt through (see pictures) be aware, as well, the grease will leak through the bottom of the unit.
Going to contact the company as this can become a huge safety hazard and we're very concerned about these issues.
ADDITIONAL EDIT: Company reached out to us, and we're going to try an round 2. We're suspecting a defect in the equipment (Hey, it happens!) Will check in when we've had it a week or two
THE UPDATE
We've had this for a few weeks now, going head-to-head with industry darling: Cosori
To be frank, it's gone *very* well.
The Crownful model sent to us by the company had a significant difference in the bottom plate appearing thicker and coated. Not a straight plain piece of thin metal like the former version. All the parts were there. For the heck of it, we tested another chicken on the rotisserie. Still gonna be hard to fit a bird here without burning something. (Sadness)
We flat out went head to head with chicken, fries and cookies. The results were pretty shocking
Fries on a head-to-head. The Cosori took slightly less time, with less cooked fries. We bumped the time to be closer to the Crownful, and we got pretty evenly matched potato fries. The sweet potatoes were where we noticed a difference with the Cosori snagging a SLIGHT win with a crispier outer finish. And it's a very slight difference.
The roast chicken is where the Crownful did a heck of a job. We only did a singleton this time in the basket, as the rotisserie wouldn't have worked. The chickens were partly frozen and seasoned the same. Cosori's timer end came out very, very raw in the middle (see image) but, Crownful's settings were ideal. Perfect skin, perfect interior cook, much moister meat. Meats are where the Crownful shines brightest, with rotisserie options and even a skewer hookup, which the Cosori lacks. It was a reliable, perfect-every-time outcome. We tested it with beef and pork over the past several weeks with very similar results.
Finally, the baking test. In this, the results were similar to the fries, a more overall outer crisp bake on the Cosori and a softer middle in the Crownful.
At the end of the day, this item, in it's newest form, measures up to the industry darling Cosori. It has more versatility and tools, which gives it an edge, but it lacks room and capacity, and some items simply cannot be always used in the method you want, or you need specific circumstances to best utilize them which can be frustrating. I want to give it a 4 and 3/4, the same for Cosori, as I would like to have the Crownful be as versatile as it promises, with the hold capacity of the Cosori (which would probably give the space for the system to do everything it implies it should do) I truly love the newer Crownful. It's worth the price, and probably more. As a heads up, ensure you have the COATED floor model, not the plain metal. =)
